No dramatic entrance needed. Bright blue lights shine as FEET stride onto stage. The band of five wonder over to their instruments knowing they are about to have the time off their lives smashing through all their most popular hits.

Beginning with one of their newest songs ‘Changing my mind again’, the band starts getting the audience excited and dancing. Absolute passion races through each member especially the drummer Ben who is slamming down on the drums extremely energetically. George bounds around the stage while impressively belting out the lyrics.

Despite giving an incredibly animated performance, each member seems very chilled out as they stop to take swigs from their Budweiser bottles. So unbothered. Like they know how good they are and don’t need to prove it to anyone else.

Cheers race through the audience as FEET continue into an unreleased track ‘The real thing’ and give us a taste of the brilliance that is to yet come. Electricity then runs through me when I hear the opening lyrics to my favourite of their songs ‘Chalet 47’. Being their most popular song, they played it quiet early on in their set. I don’t however think this is a bad thing. When performing as a support band it’s essential to keep the audience who might not know many of your songs interested. A few noticeable people also knew the song and sang along but a majority of the front crowd was now boogying.

A few more tunes like ‘English weather’ and ‘Can’t get in’ fly by as FEET continue to hold astounding levels of enthusiasm. With that outgoing energy, the crowd does the same and a couple of people start jumping on each other’s shoulders attempting to get the bands attention.

One of the members announces they will be at the merch stand to meet fans after their set. Fan interaction is so important and I adore when a band appreciates their fans and genuinely wants to say thank you.

Slower, transcending guitar riffs later bring the show to an immaculate end with the infectious closing song ‘Good Richard’s crash landing’. Beginning leisurely the track rapidly speeds up and becomes freeing and bouncy. Guitar picks are catapulted into the audience whilst the band blow kisses to the audience and proudly depart from stage.
